If you do have GoldenCheetah installed then please note that this version uses a different Athlete directory structure and you will be prompted to migrate to this structure.

We *strongly* recommend that you back up your data before proceeding with this change.

You will be give the opportunity to cancel the change but you will need to go to the official 3.1.0 release or the previous development release.

After a little time off from the Version 2.1 rollout, here are the latest development builds of version 3.0.

For Windows users, I am now using a different build system so please report back any issues that you have. You will see a Command window open when you run Golden Cheetah. This is so you can see any debug or messages that may or may not be useful if there is a problem with the software.

Please check out the WIKI page on Version 3.x Features especially the Add Chart Button as to where charts are in the current build. The page is being actively worked on but as these are development versions some information may be missing or out of date.

For Windows and Mac, version 3.0 installs into different location and the data files are in separate directories compared to version 2.x so that they don’t conflict. You need to copy/paste from your version 2 to your version 3 if you want to use your old files.

The SRM download back end for Linux and Mac was changed. We have rebuilt GC to use the newer version. Windows is the same as the last build as it does not have SRM download capabilites.

Unless something major crops up, this is most likely the last release candidate build for version 2.1. We were able to sneak in the Air Density Calculator and some new translations and fix a few other small things.

Apologises to Windows users who downloaded and installed the last build. It saved your file files into the version 2.x data area. You will need to re-import any files that you may have downloaded over the last week if you continued using last weeks builds.

These builds have a new Sidebar on the right hand side with a mini calendar. For the first use of this sidebar you may need to hunt around and expand the sidebar to actually see the calendar.
