Update to the master code that is slated for Version 3.1.

The Developers have asked if people could look to see if they can recreate the issue CRASH: Create Interval… #775 with these builds. This is most likely going to affect Mac users.

The Mac (10.7+ QT5.2) build does not have 3D plotting capabilities and unless you have installed the D2XX drivers on you machine you will not have D2XX download capabilities either.

For Windows builds it will by default install over the existing 3.0.x software.

It will share the Athlete data from an existing 3.0.x install.

This will overwrite the official 3.0.0 release of Golden Cheetah. All athlete data from your existing 3.0.0 installation will be available to this development release.

This build reinstates Twitter, Strava and Google Maps functionality. It adds in uploads to Cycling Analytics and Self Loops and fixes issues with the Trainer not handling wheel sizes other than Road/700C correctly.

Here is the seventh Release Candidate for Version 3.0.

Windows 32bit installer. Separate Mac 32bit and 64bit DMGs – no Wahoo Kickr support. Mac OSX 10.6+.

Please post all comments/bugs/feedback to the v3.0 Release Candidate 7 thread on Google Groups.

As this is a Release Candidate it does not install into a v3 specific folder. It will save data to the same location as version 2.x. For Windows users unless you specify a different install directory the installer will install over the top of any v2.x install.

Please back up you user data before installing.

Open menu item “About – Help” or “GoldenCheetah – About” in both your 2.x or 3.x version and see where the Activity files are stored. Close out of the application. You can then copy the Athlete directory from one directory to the other using your favourite file manager. Restart and the files should be available.

For Windows and Mac, version 3.0 installs into different location and the data files are in separate directories compared to version 2.x so that they don’t conflict. You need to copy/paste from your version 2 to your version 3 if you want to use your old files. Open menu item “About – Help” or “GoldenCheetah – About” in both you 2.x or 3.x version and see where the Activity files are stored. You then copy the Athlete from one directory to the other using the OS and restart and the files should be available.
